Nebraska-Texas Baseball Picked for National Broadcast
The Big 12 Conference announced Thursday that Nebraska's baseball game at Texas on Sunday, March 21, will be carried as part of the league's package on Fox College Sports. First pitch from UFCU Disch-Falk Field is set for 1 p.m., as the game is the finale of the Huskers' Big 12-opening series.

Huskers Open Baseball Practice Saturday
The Nebraska baseball team begins preparations in earnest for the upcoming season on Saturday, as the Huskers begin spring practice inside the Hawks Championship Center. Saturday's workout will be the first of 17 practices leading into the season opener at Fresno State on Feb. 19. The Huskers will begin practice at 8 a.m. Saturday and will practice six days a week before leaving for Fresno.

Husker Home Run Club Banquet Set for Feb. 5
With the first pitch of the season less than a month away, the Husker Home Run Club is sponsoring the Home Run Club preseason banquet. The annual preseason banquet will take place next Friday, Feb. 5, at the Cornhusker Hotel (333 South 13th Street) in downtown Lincoln.

Huskers Meet Fans Saturday Morning
A crowd of over 200 people was on hand for the Nebraska baseball team's Husker Home Run Club Meet and Greet event at the Embassy Suites in LaVista Saturday morning. They got the chance to listen to Coach Mike Anderson talk about the upcoming season, a Q and A with fans in attendance as well as autographs with Huskers players and coaches.

Husker Omaha Meet and Greet Set Saturday morning
Baseball fans in Omaha will have a chance to meet members of the 2010 Husker baseball team this Saturday, Jan. 23, as the Husker Home Run Club will sponsor the Omaha Meet and Greet. The event will take place at the Embassy Suites in LaVista (12520 Westport Parkway) and goes from 9-11 a.m.
